According to the OCRegister, Luke Walton is still having trouble with his surgically repaired right ankle. Walton underwent the procedure early in the offseason and he says he still has trouble putting weight on it, relegated to the now famous alter g treadmill. Walton hopes to get clearance any day now, allowing him to be ready by next month's training camp. Walton figures to be competing for playing time at small forward along with Odom, Ariza, and Radmanovic. If Luke is able to get back to his pre-contract play, he should get his fair share of minutes. However, its a big "If" when it comes to his health these days.
